Rise Pilates Studio

Emma 🪩

Emma is what happens when you combine a reformer instructor, yoga teacher, hairstylist and DJ into one very fabulous, very pocket-sized human. Her world is movement, music, creativity and making people feel genuinely good - and every single one of those things shows up in her classes.

Emma’s journey into movement became deeply personal after experiencing early menopause and being diagnosed with osteoporosis. Through yoga and reformer Pilates, she found a way not only to support her body physically, but to slow the decline in bone density, rebuild strength, and reconnect with confidence in her body again. That experience completely changed the way she sees movement - not as punishment or performance, but as something powerful, supportive and life-enhancing.

That’s why she’s so passionate about helping other people feel stronger in their own bodies too, regardless of age, experience or where they’re starting from.

Rhythm-led, intuitive and genuinely infectious in her energy, Emma teaches with a style that adapts to the room rather than sticking rigidly to a plan. Her sessions have a flow to them that’s hard to describe but very easy to feel - you’ll leave stronger, looser and in a considerably better mood than when you arrived.

Emma is also the beating heart of Rise’s Pilates & Prosecco evenings, which should tell you everything you need to know about her energy.

When she’s not behind the reformer or the decks, you’ll usually find her on a countryside walk with her bulldog Bella - which is the only time things slow down even slightly.
